Tina is a commercial lawyer practising primarily in the area of commercial law and transactions, including the establishment of commercial enterprises through business structures such as corporations, partnerships, discretionary trusts and unit trusts. Tina has acted for a wide range of public and private sector clients in relation to commercial transactions, contracts, and in providing general commercial advice. She also has particular expertise in commercial leasing, franchising and trademark matters, including the commercial exploitation of intellectual property and assisting clients in achieving their commercial goals. Tina is genuinely passionate in embedding herself in her client’s businesses and helping them to achieve their desired commercial outcomes. - Negotiating the terms of various commercial agreements including supply and distribution agreements, non-disclosure agreements, sale/purchase agreements, government tender documents, service agreements, independent contractor agreements and employment contracts
- Advising and negotiating terms of vendor finance agreements, secured and unsecured loan agreements, mortgage documents, guarantees and indemnities, and security agreements
- Compliance and refulatory advice with the National disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013
- Business sale and purchase advice and transactions
- Advising clients in relation to all Intellectual Property matters
- Franchising advice and disputes
- Competition and consumer law advice
- Commercial leasing advice for both landlords and tenants
- Advising clients in relation to Intellectual Property matters
- Acting for creditors and shareholders in relation to applications for the sinding up of companies on both insolvency related and just and equitable grounds
- Advising clients inrelation to commercial matters including business structures and matters relating tocompliance with the Corporations Act 2001
- Negotiating the successful resolution of disputes between shareholders and/or company directors
- Appeals before the Full Court of the Supreme Coutrt of South Australia
- Litigation of corporate, partnership and other business disputes
- Appearing in all of the South Australian Courts, the Federal Court of Australia, and the Federal Cirsuit and Family Court of Australia
