Ryan is a commercial lawyer practising predominately in the area of commercial disputes and litigation, acting for a range of clients of all sizes including individuals, sole traders, family businesses, start-ups and small-to-medium enterprises. Ryan’s experience to date, along with his degree in business management, provides him with a solid understanding of commercial considerations. This allows him to work closely with clients with a view to achieving the most practical and commercial resolution to a dispute.

- Acting for builders, developers and owners in building and construction disputes
- Assisting and advising on bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings
- Advising on compulsory acquisitions under the Land Acquisition Act 1969 and acting for landowners and business owners in compulsory acquisition proceedings
- Negotiating the successful resolution of disputes between shareholders and/or company directors'
- Appearing in the Magistrates Court of South Australia and the District Court of South Australia
- Advising on the Australian Consumer Law
- Advising on compliance with the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)
- Negotiating and drafting various commercial agreements including supply and distribution agreements, shareholders agreements, non-disclosure agreements, sale/purchase agreements and independent contractor agreements
- Advising and negotiating terms of vendor finance agreements, secured and unsecured loan agreements, mortgage documents, guarantees and indemnities, and other security agreements
